The HR Business Partner role provides HR tactical support, management consultation, and employee relations services to our client’s Development organization.  This role will focus on facilitating many key people initiatives as an investment in their ongoing growth and retention.  This role will provide HR support, tools, and strategies that optimize their people’s productivity and retention, processes, and culture, and facilitating business results.  The HRBP role will report to the HR Director that supports the America’s Development business unit.

 

A successful candidate has proven experience in the following areas:

  • Influencing technical leaders and employees by recommending new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity, and employee development
  • Managing activities associated with workforce planning, performance management, learning and development, compensation, and employee relations
  • Advising and coaching managers and leadership on HR best practices
  • Strong skills in mediating conflicts and collaboratively finding solutions
  • Strong internal and external customer service focus, with the ability to efficiently communicate and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Co-facilitation of training, and roll-out of various HR compensation, benefits, performance management, relation relations initiatives, and business line programs
  • Coordinating performance management and succession planning programs that continuously improve workforce productivity, increase leadership development, and help managers to differentiate employee productivity and performance standards
  • Maintaining knowledge of local labor market trends and coaching managers on competitive ways to attract and retain top talent
  • Contributing to the development and facilitation of multiple org developments, reward and recognition, team building and conflict resolution initiatives
  • Experience supporting a direct client population of 300 – 500 employees, preferably in a development, technology and operations

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelors’ Degree required, MS or MBA preferred; HR certification strongly preferred
  • Experience in fast-paced, high-tech, software or start-up company experience is required
  • 5-8 years HR Business Partner or Generalist experience, with 8 years of overall HR generalist experience required
  • Direct support as an HR Generalist or HR BP for a Development organization required
  • Application of HR employment law knowledge and experience
  • Basic HRIS reporting skills, techniques, and practices; PS and Oracle HCM experience preferred
  • Experience in high-tech, software, and start-up company experience is preferred
  • Excellent PC skills, including advanced MS Office skills; advanced Excel skills
  • Experience and fundamental knowledge of compensation and commission plans
