As a Software Development Manager you are responsible for leading several teams of

developers working on one of our client’s products. You are accountable for building healthy teams, maintaining team health and delivering new business value. You will manage daily activities of software developers, coordinate with product managers, and other development managers and stakeholders, to maintain excellence and develop existing and new capabilities for your area of focus. Continuous involvement in the overall application strategy and development lifecycle is required.

Job Duties

  • Help develop and maintain engineering best practices and culture
  • Work with product managers, technical leads and teams to complete projects that further the business.
  • Hire, build and nurture effective multidisciplinary teams across web, mobile and backend engineering
  • Support developed solutions in production
  • Review code, write code on occasion, this is a technical leadership position


  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or a related field
  • Experience on complex Java application development
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Critical thinking and autonomy
  • Strong knowledge of software application architecture best practices
  • Excellent pull request review skills and attention to detail
  • People leadership experience of teams of 10+ developers
