Position

As a Network Security Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in defining and managing our client’s network security product portfolio. You will be responsible for driving the development, launch, and ongoing enhancement of our client’s network security products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and customer satisfaction. You will be a key point in product execution, coordinating with inbound (R&D, Support, Operations) and outbound (Customers, Marketing, Sales, SEs,) functions to deliver and maximize customer value.

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Market Analysis: Continuously monitor the competitive landscape and market trends in network security to identify opportunities and threats. Use data-driven insights to make informed product decisions.

2. Product Roadmap: Create and manage a detailed backlog feeding into the product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on customer needs, industry standards, and technology advancements.

3. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, marketing, and customer support, to ensure successful product development, launch, and support.

4. Requirements Gathering: Work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to gather product requirements and translate them into detailed specifications for development teams.

5. Product Development: Lead the product development process, including feature definition, design, and testing, to ensure products are delivered on time and meet quality standards, employing Agile development methodologies.

6. User Experience: Understand customer use cases and requirements working with UX to connect with users and create interaction and experiences.

7. Customer Engagement: Maintain strong relationships with key customers, gathering feedback and insights to drive product improvements and enhancements.

8. Product Performance: Monitor the performance of network security products in the market, tracking key metrics and making data-driven adjustments as needed.

9. Compliance and Security: Ensure that network security products comply with relevant industry standards and security best practices.

 

Skills and Qualifications

· Proven experience (5+ years) as a Product Manager in network and cybersecurity industry, focused on Fortune 500 and Global 2000 customers.

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree is a plus).

· In-depth knowledge of network security technologies and industry trends.

· Strong analytical and interdisciplinary problem-solving skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

· Strong project management skills.

· Product management certification (e.g., Pragmatic Marketing, Certified Scrum Product Owner) is a plus.

· Domain expertise in one or more of the following areas: NAC, AAA, Radius/TACACs, 802.1x, Identity & Directory services, endpoint deployment and integration.

· Familiarity with Network and Security solutions including Cisco ISE, FortiNAC, Arista MSS-G, Meraki, Aruba, Tenable, Qualys, Crowdstrike, Zscaler, Splunk, Service NOW.

· Experience with Federal certifications: FIPs, CC, DOD/APL.

· Cloud experience: GCP, Azure, AWS, FedRAMP.
