Product Manager, Cloud Security

Position: 

As a Product Manager for our Cloud Security client, you’ll play a pivotal role in guiding our clients cloud security product platform. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Product Management, they are looking for proactive individuals with an innovative mindset and a knack for adapting in a fast-paced environment. Your primary tasks will include defining, launching, and continually improving their cloud security solutions to ensure they meet top-notch standards of quality, performance, and customer satisfaction. While they see an advantage in candidates being near their Dallas or Ottawa facilities for in-person collaboration, they are flexible and accommodating for remote positions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Analysis: Utilize data-driven insights to monitor competitive landscapes and network security market trends, guiding product development accordingly.
  • Product Roadmap: Oversee the cloud product roadmap, making feature and enhancement decisions based on customer needs and emerging tech trends.
  • Backlog Management: Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring it reflects customer needs, market trends, and business objectives.
  • User Stories: Create and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and other backlog items to guide development teams.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Establish and nurture partnerships across departments such as engineering, sales, marketing, and customer support, ensuring products are developed, launched, and supported effectively.
  • Requirements Gathering: Engage customers and internal stakeholders, translating their product needs into actionable specifications for our development teams.
  • Product Development: Spearhead the product development process from feature definition to testing, assuring punctual deliveries and strict adherence to quality standards using Agile methodologies.
  • User Experience: Collaborate with UX teams, diving deep into customer use cases to facilitate seamless interactions.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain robust relationships with crucial customers, always seeking feedback for continuous product iteration.
  • Product Performance: Consistently evaluate the market performance of our cloud security offerings, tweaking strategies based on vital metrics.
  • Certifications, Compliance, and Security: Guarantee our cloud security solutions are compliant with relevant certifications and embody security best practices.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a Product Management role, with a focus on cloud cybersecurity for high-caliber clients.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in fields like Computer Science, IT, or Business. Advanced degrees in relevant domains are appreciated.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comprehensive grasp on cloud infrastructure, security technologies, and platforms like GCP, Azure, and AWS. Acquaintance with concepts like FedRAMP, DevOps, CI/CD, and Kubernetes is advantageous.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Stellar communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Agility: Comfort in a rapidly evolving landscape with the capability to juggle multiple priorities.

Interview Process:

  • Candidates will undergo several panel interviews with members from both our clients product management and engineering teams. While most interviews will be conducted remotely, local candidates from Ottawa or Dallas may have opportunities for in-person sessions.
